NDS II problems with data display?!

Post by Jeroen330 »

Dear readers,

I'm from Holland and a happy user of this great peace of software!
I have used Nissan data scan 1 for several years now and i've recently bought the Nissan data scan 2 adapter with the software.

The first attempt om a 2001 Nissan Primera P11-144 (also Infinity G20) was without any problems.
The read out was good, no troubles, every sensor was able to read out in data display (F1)..

the second time i tried a Nissan K11 (CGA3DE) 1.4 OBD2 (nissandatascan.com said this is a compitable model).
The adapter respond and i can read out the error codes. i can also reset the ECU..
Here is my problem: into data display (F1), i can only set the parameter for calculated load. other sensors can't be selected. How is this possible? I need to just read out K11 OBD2 versions? Calculated load is the only one to select..

please help me Nissandatascan!

What version of NDSII are you using?
When you go to ECM->Data Display Settings how many parameters do you get for assigning to each gauge?

Do you get more parameters in the OBDII option?

Hello Tom,

Thanks for your reaction..
I'm using Nissan DataScan II Version 1.51

at Data display settings i only get one avaidable parameter (Calculated load) for each of the 12 gauges

What do you mean with OBDII option? Nissan DataScan II Version 1.51 is OBDII......

On the main screen click on the OBDII tab then click connect. This will use the generic OBDII protocol to connect to your ECM instead of Consult II protocol.
