Fuel Mileage

I was wondering if there are any tricks tunes etc to make an older 01 Altima get considerably better fuel mileage. I am talking 60-70 plus mpg. There are some people that have achieved close to this number with American V8 cars from the 70's. My thinking is that this be achieved with a 4cyl engine much easier. If anybody knows how to accomplish this, please let me know.
