Not sure if this is a datascan software fault or a blazt cable fault, but when I tried to fire this up today, I couldn't connect to the ECU.
When I try to connect the datascan 1.51 software reports 'cable firmware...' then 'upload ini...' then 'ini failed' and nothing else happens.
I used this cable just a week ago and it worked fine.
I can detect the adaptor cable by using the 'find adaptor' feature. but it I can't use it to communicate with the ECU, or any other tab in datascan.
I loaded up the software on my wife's laptop, but go the same errors when trying to connect.
I have tried on 2 cars which I have used this cable successfully on before, but the same error occurs on both.
Any ideas?
ini failed.

Any luck fixing this? I'm having the same issue..
Re: ini failed.
Yes, it was a faulty adaptor, I am still waiting for a warranty replacement from the orignal supplier!!!
Re: ini failed.
Does this problem helps upload firmware for Blazt adapter?

Re: ini failed.
I had this ini failed message come up on the Android app via Bluetooth.
Once I started the engine, it immediately connected. Might help.
