JDM Issues

Hello Tom,

I have JDM Nissan 350z ( Fairlady Z) Z33 Chassis 2006 RevUp Version ST. NDS II works great but some features are invisible, exactly there is no EVT sensors, MAF g/s ( only voltage ). When I was testing this I tried to connect on USDM 350z but non-revup and all worked perfect but dunno what NDS 2 can do with USDM revup engines. Next day my friend came with JDM Nissan Skyline V35 350GT and all the same MAF g/s not listed but on USDM Infiniti G35 I can see MAF g/s and voltage. some other functions are hidden from drop down menu too... maybe some address mismatches here ?? please take a look :) if it helps here is my ECU ID: 23710-CF42A

Thanks in advance

The JDM, AUSM and USDM ecus all have different ROM images. The v35 350gt for example doesn't have cruise control which is present on most (if not all) G35 Infinities. The same for other features. Some markets just have them disabled and the ECU doesn't report them.

The NDSII software queries what features are available when it connects to the ECU. It only displays what is supported. This is not based on ECU ID but the actual information reported by the ECU.
There is a small chance that those parameters are located under different addresses.

Are you able to supply a ROM image for the 350Z RevUp ECU? We will be adding exhaust cam timing params and we can have a look if there is anything else useful to add.

We did some testing on your ROM. Unfortunately even the Consult III tool can not report MAF g/s, only voltage. Attached are example of logs of all available parameters and registers.

The way I see there's a big difference between JDM / USDM versions. Thanks a lot :)
