1999 INFINITI Q45 NO ADVANCED FUNCTIONS IN NDS 2

Hi All,
I am brand new to the site, and just purchased the NDS II program to get ignition keys programmed into my ECU. Having problems getting this to work. I have a 1999 Infiniti Q45 with both of the diagnostic connection ports, (14 pin Gray, and White OBD2). I am trying to get into the Imobiliser section of NDS II with a VAG 4.09 interface cable, and can connect to get ECU Id, and serial,...but the whole dialog box for Work Support is grayed out! Am I totally screwed on this? I hope not, as 99% of my reasoning for buying the adapter, Nissan Supercode, and NDS II software program is to be able to get working keys for my car. I bought it recently, and the seller only had one key that would work to start it. I know that a dealership can get transponder keys programmed in, as well as a good locksmith, but I really want to do this myself, and also not get robbed blind by the prices. I have two factory original keys new from ebay to get cut and programmed in, so I am sure hoping there is an answer to this that will work. I do suspect that I may be up the creek on this because it looks like my car is a transitional sort of computer issue being between Consult 1, and Consult 2, and OBD 2 interfacing.
Thanks for any Help, or Advice, -Jay
