no connection

Hi Tom, vag kkl adapter, FTDI zip, Wants comm port 4. win 10 and laptop, test prog ok, registration ok, prog wants comm port 4, everything seems ok, but stick it on Nissan E51 3.5 petrol, no connect? re-checked over and over I must be missing something can you help?

Have you selected "Generic adaptor" under Settings->Communication?
Also play with the "Ini Timer Offset" value. Sometimes it helps.

Hi Tom, yep done all that. going to try the adapter on something else see if that's faulty. son has a rx8 and software so he will try on that. Pity you cant get the blatz anymore.
