350z HR Issues with ODB Connection

Post by WLS350Z »

HI ALL
wonder if anyone can point me of assist me in the right direction.
I have a 2008 350ZHR (location South Africa)
I can use my Uprev cable to connect on my ODB port without issues, i can load / log download and upload maps.

How ever i also have a tablet in the car (Android) and an ODB 2 Bluetooth or wireless adapter, i can connect to applications such as Torque or dash command, but i cannot get any information out of it/

Locked PIDS?
is there a solution to this? has Nissan locked my ECU ?
im unsure how to Proceed
with regards to the ODB dongles, i have tried every single one in excistance.
thanks in advance

Try the NDSIII Android app. It uses Nissan's Consult protocol over CAN. The same as Cipher from UpRev. You can use a generic Bluetooth ELM327 OBDII adapter with this app.
Torque and Dash Command only use the generic OBDII protocol which is not always fully supported in Nissan cars.
