Would this setup work?

Hi Guys,
Recently got into looking at different ways of data logging and im hoping you can give me some insight whether or not what i plan will work.
My car;
Nissan 200sx S14a - With an RB25 engine conversion.
Consult ports wired in and WORKING.
I have installed an Acer Iconia B1-810 into my double din section of my car. I have that connected to a 4x port mini-usb hub.
If i were to buy this adapter; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-14-Pin-Co ... SwrklVeR40
A) Would that work ok with your DataSca 1 for Andriod?
B) Would the software still be able to see the device in the consult port through the hub? My device supports OTG (on the go) and can have multiple things running from the USB hub.
