2004 Terrano 2.7TDi Connection Problems

Hi Guys
I was previously using ECUTalk with my 96' Ford Maverick which had the 14 PIN Consult I connector and worked perfectly.
I've recently swapped cars to a 2004 Nissan Terrano 2.7TDi which has the 16 PIN Consult II/EODBII interface which I've been advised won't work with ECUTalk which is why I've made the switch to NDSII
I've purchased the KKL 409.1 OBDII VAG-COM adaptor as I've been advised that the BlaztII adaptors are quite illusive these days
I'm struggling to make connection to the car correctly, the only tab I am able to connect on is OBDII which provides very limited functionality, don't get me wrong I can see and clear fault codes and bring up gauges however, only one at a time
Is there any way of bringing up a cluster of gauges like I was able to do in ECUTalk?
What am I doing wrong guys?
Many Thanks
