Help getting started

Hello, I have a 2004 base sentra, and can't get anything to come up on the ECM tab.

I have a USB OBD-II-2 KKL 409.1 OBD2 Cable VAG-COM for VW/AUDI. I have set the cable to Generic and ran a scan on the ECU and found one on 10 and one on 58 while the engine is off.

When I attempt to connect to the ECM it says connected and flashes the keep alive (I think) message in the lower right.

However, the only buttons that are active are the log analyzer and data replay. I have not purchased the software yet as I wanted to ensure compatibility before buying.

Am I doing something wrong? Or do the ECM buttons activate only when the software is activated?

I should also mention that the OBDII tab connects and works just fine.

If you are getting the ECU Part Number that means you are connected. All the other buttons will be enabled once you activate the software.
ECU ID 58 is your SRS ECU. You will also be able to connect to it from the SRS tab.
