VAG-COM adapter and Patrol TB48E

I am using the VAG Com adapter, as provided by NDS website, and have installed the trial version of NDS II software on a WinXP laptop with correct .NET.
I am trying to connect to a Nissan Patrol Safari 2012 TB48E engine, the light is glowing on the adapter, but NDS II fails to communicate, have made sure that the correct comm port is selected on NDS II and that blatz is not selected as the adapter, but the generic option.
Anymore things for me to try.
The driver installed for the cable was the one supplied with the cable.

I got this to work. I changed the "ini timer offset" to "-5" and worked a treat.
