Brand new generic cAble as specified by the site instructions and running nds II..... it connects but it keeps reconnecting and disconnecting thru the session and also by switching from BCM to ECM,etc...any ideas ?, is this normal or it should connect and keep the connection alive regardless...?...
It will identify and connect to the ecu but it looses connection as explained in the beginning of my post....

You can only connect to one ECU at the time so if you changing tabs from ECM to BCM etc. you will loos connection to the previously connected ECU.

When you say "it keeps reconnecting" do you mean you have to click the Connect button because the connection dropped out?

Normally the software sends keep alive messages to keep the session up. If your PC is doing something else or you running some other software the keep alive message might be delayed and the connection times out.
