Bypassing NATS

I have a 2002 Sentra SER SpecV, and the Immobilizer has gone out on it. I tried re-programming the keys, and got the car to start up, using both keys, two separate times. But the next morning it wouldn't start at all. Is there anyway to completely bypass or disable the NATS system?

The short answer is no.

It would be possible if you reflashed the ECU with a hacked ROM that disables the immobiliser. I don't know any software that could do it. Someone might be able to do it for you but it would probably cost you more than just fixing the immobiliser.

That is pretty much what I thought. I guess the next step is to try replacing the immobilizer.
Thanks!

I have installed the new immobilizer and tried to re-program the key with the same PIN code I used successfully before, 5523, and now it's saying it has failed to program. Do you have any suggestions as to what I can do to get this new immobilizer programmed?

Hi,
Any progress on nats5/ immo delete? I have the same problem, 02 A31, 3.5L maxima usa dead immu "A" version box with login 5523.
I have read the 93C66 eep, but no clue about reprogramming the flash to jp version or such w/o immo.
vw and audi is no problem with immo0.
