Stuck Connector

Hi Guys ;
I just got this cable in the mail this morning and by noon I got the cable stuck in the OBDII socket
and can not get it out .. any suggestions ?

Yes I believe I put it in right , because it would not go in the other way.

Thanks for the fast response .. I tore my dash apart and pried the connector off.
Then after it was removed , I could break the tab off the plug and now it will release easily.

Sometimes you just have to wonder what they were thinking when they put that there in the first place.
