The first picture with "TXD" marking is correct.
Is anyone able to connect an oscilloscope to the Q3 transistor to see what the signal looks like?

I don't own anything like this. Has anyone actually got it working using that method? I found a Russian site where this connection was suggested but the guy never came back to say whether it actually worked or not.

Hi Tom, both Bird and I have tried both sides of the resistor from the 2 photo's and both had the "ini failed" on either connection.
I don't have a scope at the moment, but will try and borrow one. I do get "Connected" flash up just before ini failed.....
Going to try to hook up RS232 to USB lead on the adapter to check that it isn't the ECU, consult port, etc....
The TX and RX signal.... what input is needed for the bluetooth signal.... would a direct DDL connection to the ECU's TX and RX be possible and software decode instead of using the RS232 converter??
Cheers....

I just tried NDSI android 1.2 on my RB26 S13 with a USB consult connector and micro usb adapter on a ONEPLUS ONE phone and it works perfectly.
I need 2 or 3 trials to connect but it's not really a problem. Connection is strong after that.
Do you plan on offering data logging on next deliveries? That would really be great.
An not as important as above, do you plan on offering dashboard looking screen (round meters/gauges) and settings for min/max/step of gauges
Thanks for all you have already done, it's very useful

There are plans to add Data Logging function, GPS and Dash with configurable gauges.
It will come after the NDSIII release.
