hello,

I had some trouble to connect with the ECU. I have an R33gtr with an R32gtr ECU and nistune board. I use this consult adapter : http://www.dealextreme.com/p/nissan-con ... 391?item=3 with this bluetooth adapter : http://www.dealextreme.com/p/db9-rs232- ... ule-104301 wired like the DIY adapter on your website and I'm using the light version for now on my galaxy S4.

When I try to connect the ap find the adapter name and type but, at the line "Status" it made the message "ini failed"

Do you have an idea of what going wrong? Thanks for your help.

Hi Tom, I have also built the RS232 and Bluetooth adapter. I am getting pairing and the connected to HC-06 in the software and then the 'INI Failed' error.....
I am getting flashing green light on the RS232 adapter and wasn't sure if this is supposed to change state on connection to ECU?
I noticed an error on the pictures for the build your own bluetooth adapter as the first pic shows the TX to be soldered to one side of R7 and picture 2 shows it actually soldered to the other side?
Trying to work out if this is a hardware fault and if it is with the vehicles ECU port, adapter, Bluetooth or software.... lol
seems weird a few of us have built the DIY adapter and it has the same Ini Failed......??
