NDS II cannot find my KKL VAG-COM for 409.1

Ok!!!!!!!

Received the new cable last night. I tried it on three different PC's and on a PC at work.
All PC's can see the cable (both cables actually) in the Device Manager, but NDS II 2.53 cannot find the adaptor.

Again I have tried Generic adaptor, Blaztll adaptor, DTR, Ini Timer Offset. Sat in the car and used Find Blaztll Adaptor.
All this and made sure that if the PC saw it in COM port 03, I used the same COM port.

What am I doing wrong. I can believe it is this difficult.

I would like to use your product, but cannot get it to work???????

If you are using the generic VAG COM adaptor leave the setting at "Generic adaptor" Type. Don't tick the DTR box.
Can you send me a screen shot of Device Manager with Ports expanded and the Communication window in NDSII?

OK, thanks. All the settings look fine to me.

The "Find BlaztII Adaptor" function will not work in this instance since you are not using a BlaztII adaptor.

Can you please generate send me a debug file?
To create a debug file:
• Go to Settings -> Communication
• Tick the “Save debug data” check box
• Save the setting
• Try to connect to the ECU
• Go back to Settings->Communication and click on the “Find ECU” button
• Start the test
After completion of the full test close NDS II and send me the NDSIIdebug.log file. The file is usually saved in the installation directory.

I purchased a BlatzII adaptor off eBay. Nissan Data scan now works no problem.

Hi Tom, im encountering the same problem, where may i send the debug file? Im using the VagCon kkl 409.1 obd2 and its driver the Ch340

We have heard from a few people having problems with the latest VAG COM KKL adapters. It could be related to the new adapter design.
