Hello, I wanted to ask whether there is any support for Nissan-Renault K9K Engines ECM over the Consult protocol. I see the petrol version ECM is supported along with SRS functions. I would also like to ask if there is any chance that the other (for example ABS etc.) functions will be supported in the near future.
I can provide some specs about the ECM which is a DELPHI:
Name of ECM: DDCR INJECTION
Program No.: BE 88
VDIAG No.: 44
Vehicle(s): K12 with K9K
Function concerned: DELPHI K9
DIESEL DIRECT COMMON RAIL
INJECTION (DDCR)
Please ask if any other information is needed.

Anybody? However I just got a VAG-COM 409.1 clone and I can say that it doesn't work. It is probably because my vehicle, as I now know, uses the CAN bus.
It could be useful to specify that some generic adaptors don't support CAN bus and that could not work on some vehicles..

I have got an OBDlink SX but still no luck. Wierdly, indeed, I am now getting some basic (and very slow) data over the OBD2 protocol and the obdlink software (obd2 does not work on nissandatascan), but the protocol it is using it ISO 14230-4 KWP (fast init,10.4 Kbaud). I bought the obdlink because I thought the car was using the CAN protocol and the VAG 409.1 adapter wasn't supporting it, but this does not seem to be the case?
However with both adaptors I cannot use nissandatascan, it simply does not connect with anything, being it OBD, ECMD etc..
I found this page on the service manual, in which you can see that the CAN data line over the data link connector (it is an OBD2-like connector), is on pins 6-14.
But I guess I am probably a little confused?

If you go to the GI section of the service manual you will probably find that the ECM is using the DDL2 communication line for diagnostics.
The CAN network is only used for communication between the ECUs.
Use the VAG 409.1 adaptor
Make sure you have the correct Com Port number under Settings->Communication
Select Adaptor Type as Generic Adaptor
Use the ECMD tab to connect to your diesel ECM
Try the "Find ECU" function to see if any ECU Ids come up
If you still having problems try adjusting the "Ini Timer Offset" setting. Try negative and positive values. Some older PCs need this adjustment to get the comms timing correctly.

I will try but checking in the manual seems like the ddl is used only for the airbag diagnostics and everything else is over CAN?

I am making some progresses. According to this other, more recent ESM you are right about the diesel version, an indeed i found an active ecu at address 7A. Still I am unable to connect to it using both ECM or ECMD.
I get some errors in the lower left while attempting to connect to it (id failed, connection failed etc..)
Still better than before, but what next? Thank you.

ECU Id 7A is used for the KWP (Keyword Protocol). It's a generic protocol just like ISO 9141 on petrol engines. Not supported by NDSII.
If 7A comes up you should also be able to connect to ECU id 12 under ECMD tab.

I tried various ini timer offset to connect to address 12 but there's nothing there, it immediately gives me connection failed. Are you sure this kind of delphi ecu is supported? Is there any way to troubleshoot and see if I have a defective adaptor?

Can you post a photo of the engine ECU?
