08 Fx35 Problems Help needed

Post by Speedworkz »

I have a blaztII connector that won't work on my 08 Fx35, but it does work on my 03 350z. When I looked in the Supported Vehicles list it showed that it should work. Help..

What engine is in your car? Is it the VQ35HR?
Try the "Find ECU" function in Communication window and see if you can pickup any ECU IDs.

OK. That's why. The Rev-up engines already use the CAN protocol for diagnostics. It's the same case with the 350Z.

Your 350z uses CAN for communicating between ECUs but the OBDII k-line is used for diagnostics.
The FX35 is probably using CAN for diagnostics and communication between ECUs. G37 from the same year does that as well.
