That is your Electronic Control Module. In other words it's your engine computer.

Thanks for your answer
but I think I misspoke it, in the option within communications, Find ECU, i fount 3 ECU:
ECU # 10 which is the ECM you mention
ECU # 11 which is what I want to know
ECU # 18 which is the TCM
That ECU # 11 module is BCM? ABS? SRS?
Thanks again

Re: ECM #11 in Patrol Y61 TB48de engine
*EDIT* I had posted to say I was getting the active port "11" on my U.S. spec 2003 M45 and thought it might be referring to the BCM but I now see that only some functions are supported on a 2003-2004 M45 and other vehicles.
NDSII Users Manual I see - "The NDSII software supports BCM (and ABS and SRS) diagnostics over the DDL2 communication line. A lot of Nissan vehicles use DDL2 communication line for engine ECU (ECM) diagnostics but still use DDL1 (K-LINE ?) communication line for xxx diagnostics. Those vehicles are not supported..."
Under supported vehicles on the homepage I see "Nissan Patrol GUIII (TB48DE) - ECM, TCM", we don't have Patrol's here so I'm not sure if that's related to your model or not.
It will still be a great tool/toy for me if the data output is correct. I'm hoping to get some info on the cam timing and engine efficiency to help in building a set of headers for my car. The +2 timing advance appears to work OK on mine also.
