Maverick/Terrano Key Reprogramming

Post by Newbawn »

Hi
Can you advise if the Datascan 1 is able to reprogramme a key to the ECU on a Ford Maverick 1997 (Nissan Terrano) - it has the 14 pin ddl socket running NATS 2 system.
Full story can be seen at post below but you can just skip to the last post which has a link explaining how the NATS 2 key is programmed on the official Nissan Consult (Device/software)

Many thanks

you will need NDSII. That is if it will work on your 1997. I will be testing NDSII on a 1998 200sx, and I will let you know if it will work.

Unfortunately NDSI can not program nats keys at this stage.

The NDSII software is compatible with the OBDII cars which your car is not.

Thanks for your replies onephatser/Tom
Can't find the Consult 1 software anywhere for sale on the web either (wonder if its Nissan dealers only who are allowed to buy?)
Guess I'll have to pay for recovery to the garage for them to plug in and reprogramme for 15 mins - so annoying when I know how to reprogramme the bugger myself now...
All the best
