2004.5/2005 350z bcm replacement

hello i have replaced my bcm with a used one matching part numbers in my 2005 350z. when i connect to nds2 i can connect to the ecm and can read all ecus except the bcm when i do ecu search.

key pairing routine shows its reading key and finishes pairing but key is not being read by vehicle.

i know it is said nds2 cannot communicate with 2006 350z bcm due to different protocol. is this also the case with 2004.5 and 2005 350z?

does anyone know if a used bcm would beed to be paired/flashed to the vin of vehicle or the ecm it self via nissan since there is no option for this?

i tried connecting to my 2004.5 350z that doesnt have any issues, also cannot connect to bcm on bcm tab or read bcm ecu on ecu id search.

The NDS II software works with ecus that use k-line for diagnostics. Your BCM is using CAN bus for diagnostics and that's why you can not connect to it. You should be able to connect to your BCM with the NDS III software.
