no options button on galaxy tablet?

as the title suggests, I have a galaxy tab 3 7.0 sm-tm210 and after trying the app on my Samsung s8 I wanted to run on my tablet, i can access the option menu on phone android but it doesn't seem to be there on my tablet version?

There should be 3 dots in the top right hand corner. On the older devices you might have to select the button with 3 lines. It's a different look depending on the Android version.

yeah I know I can access it using the app on my phone but using the app on my tablet it is missing them?
