ABS deativates during maintenance.

When I read the abs codes or try to log them the abs disconnects. Is there any way to keep the abs on while you do abs tests like checking the solenoids and abs sensors? I want to run the car and see if one of the solenoids is not firing or if the abs speed sensors are out while driving.

No, there isn't. Once you connect the ECU automatically disables the ABS functionality. You can still monitor and log the ABS speed sensors.
