I'll be sure to update on progress. It seems I have much to learn. I don't have a computer programming background only industrial controls.

I looked around in the MAxima rom tonight and found the cam timing. I have another thread about it. I'm going to start looking at the spec v rom soon as I just pulled it tonight as well.

Heres a copy of the box stock spec-v rom. I haven't looked at it much yet.

To do a little updating. I've helped to decode a few roms over on the rom raider forums and have successfully flashed my 02 maxima and 02 sentra spec v, along with my 06 g35 6 mt(cam timing, rev limits, fuel comp, etc, maf, and timing maps I have found.) The sh7055 ecus all use the same basic code structures and its not too hard to find everything. The sh7058 in my g35 is also very similar, but I'm having a hard time figuring out the rev limiter. My rom is 90% or so similar to Ak eyes rom posted above. Anyone have insight in to how the later nissan ecus handle the rev limiters? Its more of a soft limit compared to the earlier roms, so I'm assuming the logic is different.

Bump to this. Later sh7058 use both fuel cut and thottle cut for Rev limiters. I see this now doing more research. I'm fairly confident the fuel cut works in the same way as the earlier cars, however the throttle cut(closing) is something that I don't have a handle on. Anyone?
