Ini fail/300zx

I recently bought the Nissan Consult Bluetooth 14 pin del and also purchased the full version Nissan Data scan I as I am using this on my kindle fire tablet. I have the Bluetooth device and plugged it in but getting the common ini failed. What should I do to fix this or get it to work?

It sounds like an adapter fault.
What adapter are you using? Where did you get it from?
