Program new immobilizer control unit 2003 Maxima

If I replace the ICU on my 2003 Maxima with a new one from the dealer, will NDSII be able to program it to my keys, ECU, etc? I have not been able to find a concrete answer on the forum about whether the software has this capability. I get that it can program keys with an existing ICU, but will it work if the ICU is replaced?

When replacing any of the ECUs with a new one from the dealer you will need to initiate it first so it can be recognised by the other ECUs. This function is not available with the NDSII software.
Once the ECU is initiated you can use the NDSII software to program new keys.
