Conn Failed at "Keep Alive"

Just purchased to check my 2007 Nissan Murano which states is a compatible ECM. Connection failed immediately after numerous attempts on all settings using the generic adapter that came with software purchase. Used "Find ECU" function and resulted in ECM active "FE". Changed search criteria to "FE" under ECm option and tried connecting again. Now runs params, regs, tests, then states "Keep Alive" and fail connections. Is this a software compatibility issue, software issue? Please help???

What engine model is in your car? If it's the HR version you might not be able to connect.

FE is not the engine ECU. Your engine ecu id should be 10. Try changing the Ini Timer Offset to positive and negative values. Try connecting after each change.

I have the exact same problem. I tried different offset and +5 permit to have FE as active et it failed at Keep Alive
