Help with connection problem please!

Is this cable (http://www.amazon.com/ScanTool-425801-O ... k+sx+cable) compatible with the nissadatascan II software? The cable has been properly installed on COM3 and i have modified the nissan data scan setting to generic cable and com3. Furthermore i have tried it with engine on, as well as off and the ecu scan does not produce any results. Thank you

This is an ELM327 based adapter cable. It will not work with the NDSII PC software. You need a VAG COM cable.
