Hi,
would you expect DataScan III to work with a Nissan Rogue ?
It's a 2008 model year Nissan Rogue SL AWD
They all have the CV-Transmission
I tried to connect with 2 different BT OBD2 dongles, both report Elm v1.5
I got various error messages on multiple attempts,
- Ini Failed
- Set Header Failed
- Set tester ID Failed
Any ideas ?
Torque Pro works fine with both those BT dongles
thanks

Re: 2008 Nissan Rogue
"Set Header Failed" is an indication of an adaptor fault. A lot of the cheaper adaptors use a copied ELM327 chip that didn't implement this function.
Torque works because it doesn't use any advance commands. It just uses a plain OBDII protocol that gives you all the basic staff but none of the more advance functions.
