Steering Angle Reset on R50 Pathfinder

Post by RyanL83 »

Hi, just wondering if NDS II supports the steering angle reset on a 2004 Pathfinder R50. I haven't purchased yet, but I saw on the website that it supports ECU only for my truck. Would I need ABS module support in order to do that?

The steering angle reset is done on the ABS ECU. Yes, you will have to be able to connect to the ABS ECU.
Your model car has not been tested for ABS connectivity. You can test the connection with unregistered software and then purchase the license.

Just tested, no luck :(. I was able to do ECM functions no problem, but couldn't connect to any of the other modules. A user on another forum noted that it wouldn't work because my truck uses a CAN, do you know if this is true? If so, do you know if there is another way to access these modules? Would NDSIII for Android work? I noticed that it is for Consult III vehicles, but is compatible with the CAN? Or do I just have the unlucky vehicle that won't work with this software?

I don't think your car is using CAN for ABS diagnostics. The CAN network is probably only used for ECU to ECU communication.
Try changing the "Ini Timer Offset" value in settings->communication window. Try positive and negative values.
