The Nissan DataScan III for Android is intended for newer Nissan cars equipped with 16 pin OBDII connecter and use Consult III protocol over CAN. Those are usually cars build between years 2007 and now.
A list of cars that the software has been tested on is located on the Supported Vehicles page. The list is by no means comprehensive and is constantly being updated as new vehicles are tested.
The NDSIII application supports both, petrol and diesel cars. It communicates with the engine ECU using Consult III protocol. It uses the same communication protocol as the dealer diagnostic tool. This protocol is far more comprehensive than the generic ISO15765 protocol. It has following functions: Data Display, Data Logging, Self Diagnostics, Clear Self Learn, Idle Air Volume Learn and Dash Display with customizable gauges.
A Bluetooth diagnostic adapter is required to connect to the car. This app is design to work with adapters build on the popular ELM327 chip. They are very well priced and available from many Internet suppliers or eBay. For a list of tested adapters please visit the Supported Adaptors page.
The NDSII app can be downloaded from Google Play store NDSIII for Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... niii&hl=en.

Is this just something that cannot happen via this kind of software?

Does NDSIII support Nissan Juke (MR16DDT)? Particularly the Transmission Temp and Intake Air Temp 2 (before throttle body)
Thank you.
