I have Nissan Datascan II and I'm trying to reset the steering angle sensor so that the abs doesn't lock my brakes up while I'm driving. So far I have done the procedure many times with a confirmation screen but my brakes are still locking up. When I go to the data display screen to view the steering angle sensor it is set perfectly at 0. But also notice that it doesn't change when the wheel is turned. Is this indicative of a hardware issue such as a faulty spiral cable (I just replaced it) or is it a problem with NDS II?
btw the car is an 05 g35 coupe 5at.

Nevermind, I found out that it was the spiral cable/clock spring and NOT the software!
