05 Altima 2.5
05 Altima 2.5
I came across this forum and was wondering the success rate for Idle relearn on this car or other Nissans. Do both the PC and the Android have that feature? Which is better?(PC vs Android) I have an ElmScan 5 compact usb OBDII adapter and one blue tooth 327 but don't know if it will work since I see a lot of people having issues. Unless you fixed that problem since December. Thanks
Re: 05 Altima 2.5
Hey Tom you still around buddy? Wanted to know I have the Vgate Scan OBD2 scan Bluetooth with the 3 light Power OBD PC. With Torque I get the lights flashing. With the NDS Lite free version I only got it to load once and don't remember it communicating to the care computer. Nissan Altima 2.5 from 05. I read about all the scanners you list and they're all v1.5 and all work with Torque. What could be the difference? All 327 chips should work right? I bought it a while back Torque was the only thing back then. I got to check the version on this one but give me some info's. I already ordered the VAGCOM USB KKL 409.1 blue adaptor for the PC soft since my Elm Scan 5 Compact does not get recognized on any comport. I want to do the Idle relearn if possible so I can get this damn car to stop revving itself continuously and any advice would be appreciated. Thanks and please reply.

So there's nobody around here anymore?

If the adapters you mention use ELM327 chips you should be able to use them with the Android app. It doesn't matter what version software the ELM chip is using.
The PC software has a lot more functionality and better rate for logging so you have to use a VAG COM or BLaztII adaptor. ELM327 adapters will not work.
The IAVL function on both software is pretty much the same. Usually the function fails for people because of some other problems with the engine like air leaks, faulty sensors, fault codes, etc.
