ECU IDs

Post by Aggel321 »

Hello all,

still trying NDS before buying...

Now my prob: I can connect to the ECM (id 0x10) and OBDII (same). However any other ID is a no go (default). So, is there a list/website/nissan information for me to try and adjust the settings? I purchased a VAGCom KKL adapter and adjusted the comms settings to recommended. Still it only finds ID 0x10 for active ECUs.

Any thoughts on this issue?

Have you tried the "Find ECU" function under Settings->Communication? This will show if any other ECUs are available.
Probably the other ECUs are using the older Consult I protocol for communication that’s why you can not connect to them.

Hey Tom,

that's what I have done already. And it only showed ID 10.

So, if the others are using Consult1 how can I connect if there is only an OBD2 connector?

That means you can not connect to any other ECUs over the OBDII k-line. You can not change anything in the software to fix that.
