consult or obd

this is my first post in the forum, i own Nissan pathfinder 2002 with vg33e . i tried to use one of the obd scanners but it did not recognize my ride.
knowing the plug under the dash board i believe is obd plug. what parts i need to scan my ride?

Your car and engine is special :) This is an OBDII connector but you actually need a Consult I adapter with the OBDII plug. The OBDII scanners will not work with your car but you can use our NDSI Windows PC software or Android app.
For PC software we recommend using a USB adapter like this http://www.ecutalk.com/interface.aspx
