Can't perform IAVL

Hi

Im having a little issue with IAVL and hoping someone can help.

I was able to performed IAVL on my car but when i change the ECU, it's from another car, same year, factory ECU, i just can't seem to perform the IAVL again. The counting just don't stop but as soon as the IAVL is initiate, the engine idle drops immediately but it wont' write the new rpm setting on the ecu .
