Supported vehile

Post by razo »

Hi all,
my vehile (Primera P11-144 1.8 petrol, 1999) is on the list "supported vehile" but I can connect with new NDS II 1.51, only to the ECM(ECU).
How I connect to other units (SRS, ABS )?
Which protocol ( K-line or DDL1) Primera have?

According to the workshop manual only the ECM is using the K-line for diagnostics. All other modules use DDL1.

You will only be able to diagnose the ECM with NDSII software.

I think you might have to use a device that supports Nissan Consult II protocol. A lot of Japanese domestic cars do not support OBDII protocol.
Nissan DataScan II should work with your car.

Do you have a service manual with wiring diagram for this car?

Thanks Tom yes it does have the basic service manual but all in japanese letters
i cant read and speak nihongo that why i am trying to fix car alone.
my obd plug pins number are pin1,4,5, and 8
lower pin12,13 and 16 only.
my car is running for couple of month with mil light on. I remove battery connector for a day but still
light remain. there is no degrade on performance but i notice my fuel consumption getting high.
now i order again from china JOBD reader hope this will work for me.
thank you in advance for any suggestion on fixing my mil light.
