CONNECT to ECU

Post by jkupie »

When I plugged in for the first time and clicked "CONNECT" it was able to connect to the ECU. The blue progress line at the bottom pulsed left to right and up came the last error codes. Somewhat later I clicked "RESET ECU" and after that (after a minute or 2 when there was no response) I clicked "CONNECT" but there is no response, no blue line showing progress, no error message (unless I, for instance, change the com port specified in which case I got an "invalid port" error). I notice that the first field of the ECU part number in the display at the bottom is populated but the last field is not (was populated when I had connected). Also, the "auto search for ECU" does not return anything. Suggestions?
