connection with track consultBT

Post by shanez »

I'm having a weird ecu connection issue. I have a track electronics Bluetooth connector and downloaded consult I and when trying to use the "connect" button on the main screen it shows the blue progress bars working for a couple of seconds but then freezes.
I went through the "find ecu" which shows EF as the active ecu. My Bluetooth come to shows a solid blue light indicating it has connected with the computer. So why is my datascan freezing? It won't let me use any other functions......weird. Any thoughts on the matter?

Oh and on a sidenote I also have the android version and it connects just fine and all the data displays work fine with the exception of speed, which for some reason reads "0" all the time.

Ok, little update. I downloaded ecutalk to see if i was going to still have the connection issue and it works just fine. I was able to connect and monitor everything with the exception of the speedo, which still doesnt read.
Any suggestions as to why my datascan doesnt want to work?
