unexpected error #8012 cannot connect

Hello

I tried to use the latest version of datascan I to check if it is working at least to read S15 ecu fault codes but when im trying to connect im getting "unexpected error #8012 "

It sounds like a problem with the driver or cable/USB port.

Error #8012 - The device is not open. It means the software tried to use the Com Port but it was no longer available.

Try updating the driver to the latest one from FTD website http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm

im using track electronics bluetooth 2 serial to connect . I think that the problem has to do with the ECU.. :/

The Bluetooth connection is the problem. Do you get this error straight after pressing the Connect button?

The car wont start and fuel pump doesnt prime.. also the ConsultBT adaptor was working before the car stopped working on android .. now it doesnt work on android too :/

This has nothing to do with your connection problem, but have you checked the fuel pump relay and the ignition switch to see if you're getting power to the pump?

i found a blown 10A ignition fuse.. ill check for more tomorrow

I would bet that is a big part of your problem. Are you even getting 12V to the fuel pump?
