VAG-K + CAN fails. Is there a Bluetooth alternative?

Post by GaryJ »

I have a 2007 350z HR and need to address the ECM.
I have installed NDS111 on two laptops Win 10 and Win 7.
Purchased from Aust. supplier, the recommended Commander VAG-K +CAN cable,( it only supports WIN 7); however Bitdefender found part of the software corrupted. Any attempt to connect NDS to the cable causes blue screen shut down. ( at this stage cable is not connected to the vehicle).

I have read one Skyline blogger who gave up after buying 3 useless cables; but he claimed success with a PP2145 Bluetooth interface bought from Jaycar.

Has anyone found this or another alternative that works. Also welcome comments on my blue screen crashes.

Thanks
Jason

Most of the Vag K+CAN adaptors use the FTDI USB chip. Have you tried an FTDI driver?

Im not aware of any Bluetooth Vag K+CAN adaptors. The Jaycar adaptor would probably be an ELM327 model which is not compatible with the NDSIII Windows PC software.
