Re: DAS Calibration
DAS is Nissan's 'Steer by wire' system, the DAS calibration centers the steering rack so the vehicle can be properly aligned, it also re-learns the steering wheel center position and aligns this with the steering rack center position. This is separate from the steering angle sensor learn, which is f...

DAS Calibration
Just checking if there is any option to add the DAS calibration features for the Direct Adaptive Steering on the newer Infiniti vehicles?
There is some details from page 17 here- https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2013/SB-10054146-1648.pdf

Re: Clear Self Learn
1) No. 2) No. 3) Either. 4) No. Clear self learn just clears long term fuel trim figures. These are figures the ECU calculates and stores over time to accommodate for differences between what the ECU 'thinks' is the correct fuel mix from data it receives from sensors, and what is actually the correc...

Re: 350Z VQ35HR compatibility
The VQ35HR started with the 07 350Z, all 05-06 350Z should have the VQ35DE revup engine (which had oil consumption issues, the HR didn't).
Does yours have dual intakes? if not, then it is a VQ35DE which would explain why NDSII works.

Re: Steering Center Reset
This adjustment 'teaches' the VDC system what steering wheel position is 'straight'. The VDC system uses a steering wheel angle sensor, and needs to know what the 'straight' position is so it knows when you are actually trying to turn, and by how much. Nissan recommend it is done after each wheel al...

ini failed.
Not sure if this is a datascan software fault or a blazt cable fault, but when I tried to fire this up today, I couldn't connect to the ECU. When I try to connect the datascan 1.51 software reports 'cable firmware...' then 'upload ini...' then 'ini failed' and nothing else happens. I used this cable...

Re: Compatibility Question?
the A33 maxima runs a VQ30DE-K engine. The -K (which is for Kaizen in japanese), has some improvements over the earlier VQ30DE in the A32, mainly intake manifold and plennum changes. it is still essentially a VQ30DE engine.

Re: Missing parameters?
The sensor voltage would be the preferred display for troubleshooting purposes as that is the actual output of the MAF. I wouldn't classify that type of coding as an 'error'. Any g/s figure would be calculated by the ECU assuming the factory standard MAF. The question is, Does the ECU actually gener...

Re: NDSII with Nissan XTRAIL QR25D
Maybe Tom can confirm for you.
I expect it will as the QR25DE is listed as 'supported' for other vehicles. But I couldn't tell you for sure..
