I had a large vapor leak (Mal) and tried to find it first by making a gas cap with a air coupling to pressurize it to a few psi , maybe to help find the leak ... It did not .. but I fear it may have caused a sensor to adjust the timing belts and off set the timing adjustment. This is why I purchased...

The first driver from this site worked and now I can make connection with the computer.

Thank you for the two links .. I'll be able to get things rolling soon .. The download I found with a google search is at 97% done .. its slow and has been working for hours now .. But I'm sure I can get the drivers in just a minute or two with the links you just provided . I'll let you know if ever...

Thanks for the fast response .. I tore my dash apart and pried the connector off.
Then after it was removed , I could break the tab off the plug and now it will release easily.

Sometimes you just have to wonder what they were thinking when they put that there in the first place.

Hi again ; I read somewhere there was a download for the USB driver to work with the Data Scan II cable But I have not been able to find it , on this site or anywhere. Maybe there should be a dummies download area where everything you may need can be found in one place. I am still unable to use this...

I just got this cable in the mail this morning and by noon I got the cable stuck in the OBDII socket
and can not get it out .. any suggestions ?

Yes I believe I put it in right , because it would not go in the other way.
